Thanks to everyone who helped weed today, the garden looks great!
Very dry... but I think we'll have a bumper crop of tomatoes soon...

As for weeding...
You don't need any special tools for weeding, just your hands...!  of course if you have any hand tools that you like to use you can bring them...

When I weed I usually start by finding a vegetable plant that I recognize, then I follow the stem of the plant to the earth and start weeding away from the plant's stem... Eli and I weeded around one of the brussels sprouts today

Carefully working the weeds away from the stem, in this case there are some carrots close by so I was careful not to pull up the carrots.


The weeding begins... I'm not a perfectionist and as long as the weeds aren't choking out the plant they actually help to trap moisture and keep the plants thirst quenched.

Whacking weeds and mowing the grass may be the next jobs lost to the robot invasion, but will humans even put up a fight?
