It's a Garlic Fest!

From the Hurricanes down south comes lots of seaweed on west beach... which goes into our garden bed... planted garlic, wrapped in a layer of salt marsh hay and we'll see what we have in the spring!  Fresh Garlic

Thanks for Jared's help today!, corn stalks are now on the sukkah!  Please join us next weekend from 10-11 for PJ Library and we'll plant some garlic in the garden as well!  This will be ready to harvest next spring...

Thanks to our new friend and gardener, herbalist, extraordinaire, Iris Weaver!  We have so much to learn about our garden and everything we used to thing was a weed.... how about this wild cucumber... we didn't plant....Thanks IRIS!!!

We learned so much about the amazing pollination of corn.... sweetest Jewish corn I've ever eaten!

Hi Gardeners and Social Justice Folks...

Would folks be more interested in gardening if we changed the garden to a community peah garden whereby folks could have their own small plots and garden with the same intent but enjoy each other's company while working own their own garden produce (a portion would continue to be donated to bootstraps)... let me know....
